I used to go nuts for variant covers, trying to buy as many as I could so that I could start my own little nest egg for a little place in the Florida Keys. Okay, perhaps I wasn't so speculative that I imagined a small fortune derived by an eye for alternate covers, but I did used to be something of a collecting completist. Today I only enjoy the artwork from afar. Top Ten artist Gene Ha has drawn the cover for Batman and Robin #19 (the last issue in Paul Cornell's mini arc) and that is some really chilling stuff!
