New 'Cowboys & Aliens' Trailer

Paramount released the second full-length Cowboys & Aliens trailer today and it looks like John Favreau is going to have another hit on his hands. Is it me, or is this summer a vast improvement over the dearth of “blockbusters” the studios churned out last year?

This new trailer offers up some more shots of the alien crafts and their general nastiness. Cowboys & Aliens is adapted from the 2006 graphic novel of the same name, written by Fred Van Lente and Andrew Foley and artist Luciano Lima. The film is directed by John Favreau (Iron Man) and stars Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Olivia Wilde, Sam Rockwell, Clancy Brown and Keith Carridine.

Cowboys & Aliens is set to hit theaters on July 29^th.

First 'Cowboys & Aliens' Poster Released

Based on the 2006 graphic novel of the same name, Cowboys & Aliens tells the tale of an amnesiac cowpoke (Daniel Craig, above in the film’s first poster) who awakens in Silver City, Arizona, with a futuristic wristband on his left hand. Things get worse for the townsfolk when an alien race decides to invade, totin’ their interplanetary peacekeepers and causing heaps of problems for the human race. John Favreau (Iron Man) is bringing the action, adventure and humor, plus a great cast to the screen next summer. Harrison Ford, Sam Rockwell, Olivia Wilde, Keith Carradine and Clancy Brown star in the adaptation of the Fred Van Lente story.
