According to TV Guide, NBC has reduced it initial order of 13 episodes of The Cape to 10. I am hopeful that this is the end of the original comic-book inspired shows so that we can begin getting more television adaptations of quality properties (Powers, Locke & Key, Hulk, etc.). I was not a fan of the first episode of The Cape; it felt like a series created by people who had a vague idea of what comic books are.
Luckily, shortly after the show's premiere, SNL produced the following digital short that parodied the struggling series. Enjoy!
