The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes

For the last week or so Marvel has been releasing micro-episodes from its latest foray into animation: The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. In comparison to some earlier efforts by Marvel, this is not a failure. But it needs some work. These micro-episodes are short features designed to introduce viewers to the heroes that make up the Avengers. My favorite so far was an episode starring Ant-Man, but I detest what they have done to the Wasp. She seems like a 15-year old pixie chick; this is possibly this biggest animated mistake since the introduction of an annoying purple monkey to another cartoon super team.

I wonder if Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow get any compensation for this?  The voice-actors are clearly trying to mimic them.

The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes premieres on Disney XD on October 20th.
