Free Comic Book Day Tomorrow!

Are you ready for Free Comic Book Day?

Tomorrow, May 7th, is the Tenth Anniversary of the annual event in which all the major publishers put out free comic books from some of the top talent in the business. Some books are reprints while others contain original content—but all are free!

Check out the video after the jump for more about FCBD.

So exactly what books can you expect? Dan Slott and Humberto Ramos’s Amazing Spider-Man featuring a prologue to this summer’s “Spider-Island” event; DC is reprinting Green Lantern #30  from the “Secret Origin” arc—a story that was the loose inspiration for the new Green Lantern film; the thrilling final chapter of the “Crown of Shadows” arc from Locke & Key; and Captain America and Thor by Roger Landgridge and Chris Samnee—the team behind the short-lived but wonderful Thor: The Mighty Avenger.

There’s going to be something for everyone, whether you are looking for all-ages (Darkwing Duck) or something slightly more mature (Locke & Key). Head to your local comic book shop ready to pick up a days’ worth of goodies to read!

Jerry and I will be at Pulp Fiction in Long Beach, California, to introduce the locals to our new podcast! Joshua Williamson (Superman/Batman and Necessary Evil) will also be on hand to sign his books! Pulp Fiction is also teaming with the Los Angeles Food Bank (http://www.lafoodbank.org/) on FCBD to help those less fortunate than ourselves.  Bring non-perishable food items or make a cash donation to the Food Bank and you will get rewarded with extra FCBD comics, free graphic novels and other goodies.

Pulp Fiction is located at 1742 Clark Ave Long Beach, CA, 90815.
