The story seen in Action Comics 900 is not going to stick, nor was it meant to, rather it was a 'what if' story.
Not really sure what that means but Comicbookmovie.com claims to have talked to DC Comics Home Office and this is what DC (???) told them,
"the story itself was simply a look at what could be and not what is."

This is, of course, fantastic news! It also sounds as if DC Comics is trying to do a little damage control. I certainly hope that this will give the editors something to think about when they come across any more 'agendaed' writing...
Marvel comics had to issue an apology when a Captain America comic suggested that the Tea Party were a bunch of racists... I understand that there is a plethora of political views out there... But it appears that the writers need to understand this as well.
Bravo to DC for the decision... even if it looks like they are wiping egg off their faces.
I can't wait for this Superman and that Superman to meet in DC's newest event...'Political Crisis'
