This weekend’s match between Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosley taught us something this weekend: Americans like a good fight.
Enter prolific scribe Grant Morrison and visionary director Barry Sonnenfeld to bring us a match that no Las Vegas ring could contain—Dominion: Dinosaurs versus Aliens! Deadline is reporting that Morrison will write a graphic novel version of the story that will eventually take the shape of a film script, which will also be penned by the author of All-Star Superman and Batman Incorporated.
Sonnenfeld, a confessed Dinosaur-junkie, will direct the script. "Growing up, my fascination was all things dinosaur, and as an adult, I've had some success making films about aliens, so this is a dream come true," said the director. Knowing Morrison, the film’s straightforward title should not be used to judge the film. I fully expect a story as big on ideas as his most famous works in comic books.
The graphic novel Dominion: Dinosaurs versus Aliens, with art by Liquid's Mukesh Singh, is expected for release in the late 2011.
