Digital Spy got a chance to ask Zack Snyder some Superman-movie questions—I keep wondering if he is getting tired of so many conversations being steered toward Superman, a film that he admittedly can speak of in only the most general of terms.
Snyder says that the Screenwriter David Goyer’s (Batman Begins and Blade) story is different than what has come before it:
- "I won't say there's a break from the canon or anything like that, but there is definitely an approach that makes you go, 'Okay, that's a way to get at it.'"
- Snyder says that the internet has been filled with rumors about the movie and much of the speculation is incorrect. One of the biggest rumors circulating the web is that the movie’s villain may be General Zod, which Snyder says is not true.
Snyder’s Superman film is scheduled for release in December 2012.
