I’ll be honest, when I heard that David E. Kelly was looking into a Wonder Woman reboot for the small screen, I thought “It’ll never happen.” However, while not the largest step forward, news has surfaced of the first name to be thrown into the pool of possible actresses to take on the Amazonian princess: Tanit Phoenix.
Phoenix is a former model from South Africa and has starred in Lost Boys: The Thirst and will appear in next year’s Death Race 2. She looks the part—which, come to think of it, might be a sexist comment. For a better idea of who Phoenix is, check out the YouTube video below.
Kelley’s Wonder Woman project is targeting a 2011 debut.
