Website Malfunction: Comic-Con Ticket Sales Halted
The Comic-Con International website crashed today to the chagrin of fans wanting to purchase their tickets well in advance of next summer’s big event.
The disruption does not appear to be due to an overabundance of ticket buyers or hackers. Whatever the reason turns out to be, officials have promised that a new registration date would be announced on Monday, November 8th.
Comic-Con International sells out each year and this one should be no different. This year had panels on Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, and Green Lantern. Just imagine the excitment if there are similar panels for the 2012 releases: The Dark Knight Rises, The Avengers, Wolverine 2, and the next Spider-Man and Superman movies.
