There are some new and interesting casting announcements for the next Spider-Man film and these are a couple of really good ones.
Sally Field is in talks to play Aunt May and Martin Sheen is in talks to play Uncle Ben. This are fantastic casting choices and also indicative of the fact that we are probably going to be getting another origin story in this film.
Field and Sheen are both currently in negotiations according to the Hollywood Reporter, so we should be getting confirmation shortly. The two actors will join Andrew Garfield (Peter Parker/Spider-Man), Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy), and Rhys Ifans (possibly Curt Connors/the Lizard) in Marc Webb’s franchise reboot.
