Just a week after the first issue of Archie was sold just north of $167,000, here comes of the juggernauts of collectible comic books to show us who commands top dollars.
Amazing Fantasy #15 (the one with the first-appearance of Spider-Man kids!) sold for $1.1 Million to a pretty serious collector. The high price tag came as a result of a 9.6 CGC-graded edition, which has until now been unheard of for this book. To date, it appears that this issue continues to be the most collectible of Amazing Fantasy's brief run.
